CE AND ISO 9001 CERTIFICATIONS
All Olimpia L’Ecologica booths and installations are CE-marked. Additionally, preference is given to products in compliance with the ISO 9001 standard.
Olimpia wet and dry painting booths, in the standard and environment-friendly version, are part of our production range. Excellent air and water filtering efficiency is the top-feature of all our booths. Upon Customer’s request, special booths are designed.
LONG LIFE – RESISTANCE TO CORROSION
In particular, our wet booths are completely made of galvanized steel sheets. No model of the range is made of pickled and painted plate.
Upon specific request, we supply and install all inlet and outlet pipes.

PAINTING AND DRYING BOX
The painting and drying box consists of certified modular insulated panels with pre-painted galvanized joining profiles that give the installation an elegant shape. Part of the ceiling is equipped with microfilters. The box is complete with inspection windows along the four sides, sliding doors and anti-panic lock-free door. Glasses meet the safety at work legislation requirements.
ELECTRIC CONTROL PANEL
The electric panel, manufactured in compliance with the CE-regulations, enables the operator to control motor units and lighting. Main technical feature granting a top functionality is the unique synchronized control starting and stopping both pressurization and exhaust units. The remaining units (electric pump, lighting) are independent; the gas exhaust fan can also be hand-controlled.
WITH MICROFILTER PLENUM
The expansion chamber is located in the upper part of the installation, in the best position for an optimal distribution of the superfiltered air to the painting and drying areas. Air super-filtration is ensured by a plenum consisting of microfilter pockets. Microfilters are self-extinguishing and made of fabric and synthetic binders. The microfilter pockets can easily be removed and inspected.
The installation lighting is ensured by a set of high-performance well-distributed tube light fixtures whose number depends upon the installation dimensions.
HOT PRESSURIZATION UNIT
The pressurization unit is an independent self-supporting structure of aluminium consisting of extruded profiles and die-cast corners finished with thermally and acoustically insulated panels easily removable for maintenance purposes.
The ventilation unit is of turbine type with a dynamically balanced rotor driven by a belt transmission running at a low rpm.
The unit is completed with an integral finned radiant battery of aluminium with a copper tube coil where hot water used to heat the air drawn in the booth circulates.
After being drawn in, air is conveyed by large piping equipped with a gate valve.
Air is prefiltered through special filters with waved surface. The unit can be positioned everywhere along the external sides or directly on the roof.
The two-way air exhaust system protects the painter against harmful gases given off during painting and drying. This technical-constructive choice has also the advantage to eliminate walls and windows that often hinder the displacement of the parts and prolong the stay of the painted part holding trolleys in the painting area close to the operator. The drawing below illustrates the airflow direction in a clear way.
FUMES EXHAUST UNIT
The fumes exhaust unit, located in the area opposite to the painting box, draws out the harmful gases given off by the materials already painted and placed in the drying area. The fumes exhaust system prevents contact with harmful substances.
1. NEUTRAL FUNCTION
The unit of pressurization is of the neutral type. It inhales air from the outside and puts it in the system without temperature variations.
The unit of pressurization is predisposed in order to work at hot, adjustable and constant temperature, thanks to a thermostat. It can moreover work at ambient temperature.
3. HEATED/COOLED AIR
The unit of pressurization can work as the system above. In addition, it is equipped with a system for the circulation of the water in the battery, that can reduce the temperature of some centigrade degrees.
4. AIR CONDITIONING
The unit of pressurization is equipped with a real A/C system able to control and keep constant temperature and humidity.
